Revelation 18: [1] And after these things I saw another angel come down from the sky of heaven, having great authority, power; and the earth was lit up with his glory, splendor. [2] And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen! Is fallen! And is become the dwelling place, habitation of demons, devils, and the prison of every foul spirit, even a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. [3] For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, even the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are become rich from the abundant power of her delicacies, luxury. [4] And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, so that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. [5] For her sins have reached to the sky of heaven, and God has remembered her crimes, unjust deeds, iniquities. [6] Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double to her double according to her works. In the cup which she hath filled, fill to her double. [7] How much she has glorified herself, and lived deliciously, luxuriously. So much torment and sorrow give her: for she says in her heart, I sit as a queen, and am no widow, and will by no means see any sorrow. [8] On this account her plagues will come in one day: death, and mourning, and famine. And she will be utterly burned and consumed with fire: for strong is the Lord God, the One who judged her. [9] And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously, luxuriously with her, will wail, mourn over her, and lament for her, when they will see the smoke of her burning. [10] Standing afar because of the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, woe! Alas, woe! That great city Babylon, that mighty, strong city! Because in one hour is your judgment come. [11] And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her; for no one buys their merchandise any more. [12] The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and of fine linen, and of purple, and of silk, and of scarlet, and all wood, and all manner of vessels of ivory, and all manner of vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and of iron, and of marble. [13] And cinnamon, and incense, and ointments, perfume, and frankincense, and wine, and olive oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. [14] And the fruits that your soul lusted after are departed from you, and all things which were dainty, sumptous and goodly are departed from you, and you will find them no more at all, by no means, not ever! [15] The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand afar off on the account of the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing. [16] And saying, Alas, woe! Alas, woe! To the great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and having been adorned with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! [17] For in one hour so great riches is laid to waste. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off. [18] And cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! [19] And they cast, threw dust on their heads, and were crying out, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, woe! Alas, woe! That great city, by which were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! For in one hour is she made desolate, laid to waste. [20] Rejoice over her, Heaven, and the holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged pronounced judgment for you on her. [21] And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast, threw it into the sea, saying, Thus with a violence impluse will that great city Babylon be cast, thrown down, and will be found no more at all, by no means, not ever! [22] And the sound of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, will be heard no more at all in you, by no means, not ever! And no craftsman, of every craft may be, will be found any more in you, by no means, not ever! And the sound of a millstone will be heard no more at all in you, by no means, not ever! [23] And the light of a candle will shine no more at all in you. And the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you. For your merchants were the great ones of the earth; for by your sorcery all nations deceived, lead astray. [24] And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Revelation 19: [1] And after these things I heard a great voice of a large multitude of people in heaven, saying, Alleluia, Hallelujah! The Salvation, and the glory, and the honor, and the power, to the Lord our God! [2] For true and righteous are His judgments: for He has judged the great harlot, whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication. And has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand. [3] And again they said, Alleluia, Hallelujah! And her smoke rose up forever and ever, to the ages of the ages. [4] And the four and twenty elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, the One who sitting on the throne, saying, Amen! Alleluia, Hallelujah!
